The event is a low tide beach run along the beautiful shoreline of Bournemouth Beach heading out towards Sandbanks Beach. You start and finish on the west side of the pier. Both 5km and 10km distances are available to enter. The groynes will slow you down which is all part of the fun.

Swanage, Purbeck and the Jurassic Coast has spectacular history, landscapes and views and has been home to The Purbeck Marathon for the last three years and now we have The Purbeck 16! A step up from a half marathon with the same fantastic scenery and big hills!
Taking place on the 14th September this series of events brings runners from all over the region.
The courses are challenging however the scenic routes make it all worth while!
The New Forest is an area of southern England that includes New Forest National Park. The region is known for its heath-land, forest trails and native ponies.
What better place to experience trail running, regardless of experience, we actively encourage new runners to our events and with no cut offs all you need do is worry about being ready for the event.
This event will see runners complete a 2 lap run around Southampton Common on an accurately measured course which will be perfect for setting a new personal best. T-shirts and medals for all finishers.
Race for Life Pretty Muddy is our brilliant 5k muddy obstacle course. Scramble over the A-frame. Crawl through the mud pit. Have fun with your friends. And raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
A 10k, 5k and a shorter run, probably around 2k, all to start on King George V Playing Fields. The multi terrain runs will take in Ferndown roads and Ferndown Common and are in conjunction with the annual Ferndown Fete.

Starting from Bournemouth Pier you will really put your front stroke to the test in this challenging sea swim as you follow the coastline to Boscombe Pier.

A 5 mile off road race through the enclosures of Wilverely and Markway in the beautiful New Forest.
Now attracting over 400 runners each year and part of the Purbeck Trail Series, the Lulworth Castle 10K is back. Maintaining our winning theme of a village event, run on private, estate trails not normally open to the public, this is a friendly 10K trail race run from one of south Dorsets prettiest villages.
The Tarrant Valley 10 comprises a multi-terrain 10km race and a separate 1-mile children's race, hosted by the village of Tarrant Monkton, set entirely within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Both races start and finish in front of The Langton Arms pub right in the heart of the village.
The 10km race begins on tarmac roads but, after the first kilometer and a challenging ascent into Hogstock Coppice, the course continues on well-surfaced bridleways and farm tracks. Relatively flat through Sing Close, Long Row, and Calcott's Coppices, half-way is reached at Six Cross Ways in Chetterwood. Past Strawberry Coppice and a gentle climb to Launceston Wood, the course then opens out to deliver a quite spectacular view over the North Dorset countryside. An exciting 800m descent on Common Drove leads to the road once again and a 600m sprint through the village to the finish. Approximately half of the race is in shade.

We return to Moreton Equestrian and estate for a big weekend of running set in the beautiful countryside of Moreton, near Dorchester. Demanding trails and a unique area to run where no else is allowed so you are spesh right?
New for 2019, Moreton Marathon, 2 lap course round some of Dorsets nicest and varied trails and its pretty flattishish. Part of Wyvern Series 2019.
This 200 mile route offers cyclists the ability to take a place in an ultra-event the ride is supported and guided by Salisbury Road and Mountain Cycle Club. SSIT will, as in previous years, provide breakfast, lunch and supper as well as two further breaks. The ride has an enviable reputation and a genuine ultimate challenge.
The Lytchett Relays are organised by Lytchett Manor Striders under UKA rules. Teams comprised of five runners with each runner completing a 5k lap around the scenic Holton Lee grounds. Its not just a race. Bring your friends and family and stay on afterwards to relax and socialise post-race in lovely surroundings.
Stunning seaside views, a chance to run on two piers, and a spectacular finish make this event one to remember. Runners will get the chance to feel the crisp sea air, with all routes spending at least a portion of their route along the beautiful coastline. A European Athletic 5 star event, runners can expect accurate chip timing, a finishers medal and a fantastic running experience.

The Brewin Dolphin New Forest Summer Sportive takes you out to conquer the wonders of the New Forest, promising to be packed with wildlife and scenic views over the national park. You are sure to have a spectacular day.
We will take you along coastal route via Calshot, Lepe, and Exbury, passing through the gorgeous Lepe Country Park along the way.
The beautiful village of Beaulieu is also on this route. Short route riders will take on the climb to Hatchet pond then along to Brockenhurst to rejoin the rest of the pack. Epic and Standard riders head north west to Lyndhurst, passing the quaint forest railway station at Beaulieu road. After a quick glance at the bustling town well push on up to Ashurst before tracking along the eastern edge of the forest.
From here we will head deeper in to the heart of the old royal hunting ground, eventually reaching the small hamlet of Fritham. At this point the Standard riders will carry on south towards Bolderwood, while Epic riders continue their journey north for a loop that winds its way in and out of the most northerly border of the forest. Heading south, the riders regroup just before passing under the A31, striking a definite course south towards the focal point of the ride - a spectacular stint through Ornamental Drive. It is here you will see the best the forest has to offer.

A very, very challenging hilly but beautiful course running through the Sydling and Cerne valleys running around and under the famous Cerne Giant.
The festival incorporates an ultra race (50km +), marathon, half marathon, 10km and childrens races over the weekend all along the Jurassic Coast. In partnership with the Jurassic Coast Trust this is the official Jurassic Coast Running Festival that will showcase the amazing coastline Dorset has to offer.
Welcome to the July Lepe Loop 10 km. Following on from last years epic event we Lepe Loop 10 km event we are strictly limited to 250 entrants. You can run it, walk it or bring your dog and join the canicross start, proceeds will go to projects in The Lepe Country Park.
Run, walk or crawl a marathon a day for 3 days along the stunning Jurassic Coastal Path. 3 marathons in 3 days is the original Jurassic Coast Challenge format that is challenging but achievable by most. Runners, joggers, and walkers all take on the challenge and start at different times each day. The routes each day are marked on issued maps but don't require much navigation to follow as the coastal footpath is well marked along the way. The event is facilitated at the HQ area which is also the finish point of day 1. Meals, massage, shop, and briefing are all located at the HQ. Shuttle buses to and from the official challenge accommodation will be provided throughout the day. The Votwo team will take care of everything at the event for you so all you need to concentrate on is completing the distance each day.
This event will consist of three separate races, a sprint, a classic and a half iron distance triathlon. With race HQ based at Weymouth College, this is the ideal location for all of the family.
The Piddle Plod is a beautiful 10km and 5km event for runners of all abilities. The race will start and end at the Puddletown Rugby Club in Piddletrenthide taking in beautiful scenery with easily accessible supporter areas. There will be food and entertainment on the day as well as a Fun Run for the little ones.
Much like the New Forest Spring sportive, which runs earlier in the year, this event also takes pride in being a must do on many cyclists tick lists. As a result, this has also sold out long before the day on each of the years it has run, so book now to avoid disappointment.
Gung-Ho! is an inclusive 5km running event, with a focus on fun and it's coming to Southampton in 2019 on 20th July. Get ready to run, jump and climb over some of the biggest inflatable obstacles in the world and show how Gung-Ho! you really are!
The Stur Half, organized by the Dorset Doddlers takes place this year on Sunday, 4th August and will be part of the Dorset Road Race League.
Bubble Rush is a fun run like no other! Youll start in a sea of foam, before passing through four different coloured bubble stations around the course, where high powered foam cannons create an incredi-bubble 4ft bubble bath to make sure you get completely covered in coloured foam!
An early summer sportive test lays in wait in the Sigma Sports Wiltshire Wildcat Sportive, which criss-crosses the Medieval drovers trails the area is famous for, passes through numerous Saxon villages, and offers magnificent views across the Dorset Downs, all in a days riding.
The New Forest Marathon comprises of 6 events, Full/Half/10k/5k/Junior 1.5k all from one location in the heart of the New Forest. All routes will start and finish from New Park Showground, Brockenhurst and wind through the heart of the New Forest National Park. The multi-terrain courses offer some of the most scenic running experiences in the country, with a blend of forest enclosures, open roads, far reaching views and of course, the famous New Forest ponies!
Our 10-mile road race takes place along a scenic route where you can soak up the hills & stunning views of the countryside to the south west of the Islands capital town of Newport including an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and views of Carisbrooke Castle.
The Salisbury 5-4-3-2-1 walk, or trail run is an event suited to all the family, with a choice of distances from 5km to the more demanding 42k/Marathon, or even a 50k Ultra Marathon. The routes will be over footpaths, bridle ways and quiet country roads in the Salisbury Wessex area. The walk/trail runs, will take you past a variety of sites of historical and scientific interest and through Country Estates not usually open to the general public. This has been made possible by the kind permission of several landowners along the route and including English Heritage.
Starting and finishing in the grounds of Wyvern College, Fair Oak, this is a mainly flat race with good PB potential.
This is the fourth event hosted by the Lulworth Estate under the supervision of the Lulworth Ranger team.
The route is split in to two route lengths this year (29km & 58km). All of which start and finish in front of Lulworth Castle.
Round the Rock started life in 2008 as the RMPAC Silver Jubilee 10k, after which it was decided to hold the race on an annual basis, with the new name of Round the Rock voted for by club members. The route is undulating, predominately on tarmac roads and pavements, and takes you around the top of the Isle of Portland in a figure of eight, with a short loop of two and a half kilometers and a longer loop of seven and a half kilometers. You will be too busy taking in the sights as you pass the prison, admire the breath taking sea views and run past Pennsylvania castle to notice the distance you have covered!
The race start and finish are at the Blues Club Grove Road, Portland. This is the home ground of Portland United Football Club and parking, as well as toilet and changing facilities, are available. To get there by road head for Weymouth then follow the signs for Portland on the A354. Follow the main road to the top of Portland to the Heights Hotel roundabout. Go straight across the roundabout to Easton. After approximately 300 yards you will pass the Chesil Beach Motors Garage and the Recycling Centre on your left, the next turning on the left is Grove Road. The PUFC ground is approximately 300 yards on your left. If using a Satnav enter the postcode DT5 1DP.

The popular West Wight Triathlon is an ideal race for first timers but challenging enough for more experienced racers.
It incorporates a pool swim, spectacular cycle along the Military Road, along the south west coast of the Isle of Wight and flat run along the picturesque River Yar.
Transition is in the field adjoining the Sports Centre where the pool is located.

The Dog Jog series are unique 5k jogging events for you and your dog to get fit and have fun. Each event offers a relaxed and fun atmosphere with no times and no pressure. They are also a great opportunity to meet like-minded dog owners in your area. Plus whats more, when you cross the finish line youll receive a fantastic Doggy Bag jam-packed with goodies for both you and your dog, as well as Dog Jog Collar Keyring medal! Dog Jog is all about getting involved, having fun and enjoying the great outdoors with your favourite four-legged friend!
The annual Boscombe 10K race organised by Bournemouth Joggers ladies running club, is a chip timed undulating open road race. The route is fully marshalled. We welcome runners of all abilities, from top local athletes to runners competing in their first 10k race. This years event is part of the Dorset Road Race League series.
The Dorset Doddle consists simply of the coastal path from Weymouth to Swanage. Anyone expecting a gentle stroll along the cliffs will be in for a shock, but the route has stunning views and is a true classic. The distance is about 32 miles, passing over some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in England, but including some tough climbs on the way.
