About
Take a trip into Britain's past with this 10k and 3k fun run at Thurleigh Airfield in Bedfordshire. Originally built as a Bomber Command unit in World War 2, now repurposed as a car racing track, this rather flat course has great prospects for anyone attempting to chase down a new PB.

Route information
On your marks. Get set. Go. Hear the chorus of stampeding feet, resembling the rumble of the legendary motorsports cars that have graced this circuit. As you exit the pit lane, hurtle towards the first turn with a nice and easy downwards descent to your first kilometre. Settle into your pace on the flat straight leading you up to the 5k mark.
Start to get into the groove as you climb the first 5m of elevation to finish your first lap. Speed past the pit lane, there's no time for a tyre change in this race. With one lap to go, head towards the newly created pit stop on the opposite side of the pit lane.
If you are aiming for a PB there will be no lost time as after your drink you will begin to descend again for the final lap.
This course is perfect for beginners or PB chasing athletes looking for a fun and easy course to put their endurance to the test.
