Make sure you look at the map to see where the turn point after the Forth Bridge, in ask you get there before the Marshall does😀

I really enjoyed this run. Getting to run over the bridge and some of the views felt like a real bucket lister. It was extremely well organised. The buffet at the end was a nice touch and a good opportunity to chat with others.Couple of tiny thing things which I think could be improved but by no means a big problem…1 - I didn’t know the route at all so was heavily reliant on following others/Marshall’s. I think about Marshall or two within the woods at Dalmeny would have helped as I felt I didn’t see any for a while but it wasn’t a problem.2 - there was a water station just as you climbed up to the bridge. It was really out the way to the side and I assumed that must be for the way back however you return a different way so I missed this station. Really minor things, overall, a great event!

I won a place from the YHRF podcast, so was delighted! I loved the race and think I will do on a annual basis now! The course is undulating and beautiful. I actually prefer undulating routes, as make the most of the downhills. What goes up must come down!!!! The marshals, and orginisers were informative with email updates and FB posts. The buffet after was so good and much appreciated! Fab medal and choice of bag or buff! The cups for winners looked amazing too. Registration was smooth. 10/10 for me.

Really great event. Very impressed. Well organised and the spread after was well received and a nice surprise. Spoke to a lot of other runners after, and all in agreement.

Well planned out! Enjoyed catching up with waves on front and saying well done to each other as we passed. Also meant there were always other runners around. Marshalls at the road crossings were really alert and very good at getting across quickly!Only minor thing that would have been good is another one or two water stations. Well done on a brilliant event! I’ve already been recommending it to people!

Great experience. Difficult race. Fantastic effort from the people organising on a long and arduous course.
