I loved the event as it was my first race as a new runner I was nervous but I didn’t need to be. I was in great hands and would do it again in a heartbeat. The organization was spot on and it made the day such an exciting one to be at. Well done New Balance and thank you so much. Only issue I had was finding my way from the station to the race line so I would suggest a little more thought be out into that. See you next time.

We arrived at the start 15 mins before our wave time. But we couldn't find any volunteers to ask where we needed to stand for wave F. Eventually we were pointed by one set of volunteers to another more senior guy who shouted at us saying we were at the wrong place and we needed to go the other wide of where we were, going past the underpass and towards Tower Bridge. We jogged over in that direction, again looking for any volunteers. The ones we did talk to were clueless. Finally, we met a couple of volunteers who radioed in to someone, during which time we recalled we needed to be at the North side, and so these volunteers told us to go back to where we had started in the first place! It was a lot of unnecessary stress. More volunteers needed at the start. More knowledgeable volunteers needed at the start. Lots of volunteers were at the bag return, though, which was a bit weird.

Start of leg one is not like the others you just start in the wave you’ve been given and be warned there are not many big relay participants so don’t wait for them .

I enjoyed the whole day tho think being runner no.1 of the relay was a bit boring running through the tunnel so missed out on supporters and photographers!

Would have liked water to drink at the relay stop before the run. The water was only for those finishing their leg.. please provide a small amount of water for those to begin

Start 1 instructions were unclear ,you just had to go in the wave you were given seemed to be very very few relay runners so we thought we must be in the wrong place. Over all an excellent day thank you to everyone

It’s was an amazing experience as I was only supposed to do a leg. Of the relay, one of our walkers needed support so walked with her side by side for 13+ more km all the way to the Cutty Sark in Greenwich loved the spirit and personal battles people overcame when they crossed the finish line 💯🎉
