Route information
Swim
The pool swim will take place in the Etwall leisure centre, which is a warm modern 6 lane pool, everyone will be set off in their respective waves according to their finish times. Upon exit, you will exit out of the fire exit into the field where you will head to the bike transition.
Bike
Once on the bike, you will take in the picturesque view of the village of Etwall as you explore its quaint country lanes. This course will be undulating throughout so make sure to enjoy this fantastic route, perfect for all abilities.
Run
This 5k out and back course over a mixed-terrain course through fields out onto the roads, as well as along a disused railway path. This will be a flat and fast section perfect for all to ramp up their pace towards the finish line.
Relay Triathlon
Each member of the team will complete one discipline. The first member swims 400m and runs out to tag the cyclists who then continue on the 18k bike, and the cyclist will then tag the runner who will complete the 5k run.
