The course was incredibly confusing to follow. I ended up going off course due to the unclear signage. There weren’t enough Marshall’s at the right areas to keep on track as there was so much doubling back on yourself but with unclear notice to say when. It was my first Saturn run event so I guess I did not know what to expect however it was such a shame as if it had been clearer it would have been a lot more enjoyable whilst running around - instead I was running aimlessly about trying to find the right route again. I did however manage to do additional Kms and was pleased that this could be updated rather than thinking I had taken longer to complete the course than I did. The start and finish line was slightly disappointing being in an unused car park - dark and dingy to collect such a wonderful medal. All the people were super friendly and helpful when asking questions and absolutely delighted with the look and quality of the medal. Delighted to have completed the course however the instructions would have been great to have them clearer and more understanding.

The atmosphere at the start/finish was good, but throughout the race it was lacking which was a shame. I don’t think I saw any marshals and very few people cheering you on except other runners. I personally find some spectators cheering you on is a great motivator and found it hard on a sunny day.

The course was beautiful but it would be even better if more signs were posted.
