Sadly I have to agree with the previous note, would have been nice to have been told it was shortened by so much at the start. No sign of results either on email or website. Marshalls were very friendly and encouraging though.

Do not do this event. The page says there is a finisher T-Shirt and Timing. There are neither. No water at finish line.Course was 8.5k not 10k. Park segment shortnened due to flooding, but track distance not increased... Poeple thought they were getting PB but they did 1.5k less!No one knew what was going on. Honestly, run around the park on your own instead of this.

Course change and changed much for the worse!! Instead of twisting back on itself (dangerously) on a slanted hill with runners coming back and forth should of just been ran a lap of the track and back out

Thoroughly Enjoyed the race, the only thing I would say is it could almost be classed as a xc race as it has a lot of off road sections but well organised and a steal for the price! Will see you next year

It wasnt really the best course to run, 6 laps of the running track then 4 around a park on grass so by the 4th lap we were literally just running through mud. The email sent prior to the event said a different amount of laps to complete as to what we were told on the day so lots of runners were left confused. However the marshals were very friendly and supportive, great facilities with lockers for bags and free parking and toilets. Overall a good race to do to build up the miles but needed a better route.

Despite late weather change to course highly enjoyable event, well organised, on site parking - highly recommended

This was more of a fun run than a race. Mixed terrain with 6 laps of the track to start with, then 4 laps of wet, slippery grass with 8 180 degree hairpin turns. The 6 laps meant I was lapping slower runners by lap 2 and having to go into lanes 4/5 to get past (5 laps of this!), then the grass which was super slippery and probably needed spikes. I've never seen grass and a track combined together before in this way and the 180 hairpins literally required you to stop and change direction on slippery grass was just bizarre. Low cost, friendly organsiation and cheerful marshals so a good atmosphere, but overall it didn't really cut it as a 10k race.

The course is terrible. 6 laps of a track and 4 round the car park is pretty bad. So many good running routes in Abingdon and we were stuck doing laps of a dull, uninteresting course. Good friendly atmosphere though and the organisers/volunteers were great.

Course was ok, although the grass part was a bit muddy and slippery. Also seemed just short of 10k, so I made sure I rounded up ..Have to say I really enjoyed it. The Marshals were encouraging , the course was good and lots of smiles at the end.I would return next year .Dan
