Route information
A generally flat 10k route on closed roads, this race starts and finishes in Altrincham town centre. From the town centre, the course follows Hale Road towards Hale Barns, which includes the only incline of note. The route then loops around Davenport Green, before returning to Altrincham via Thorley Lane, Grove Lane and Moss Lane, to finish at Stamford New Road.
Come to try out a new distance, or go for a PB around this quick 10k course. The entire route will be marked and marshalled.

Age Requirements
This 10k is open to runners aged 15 and over.
Race Packs
If you’ve entered more than 2 weeks prior to the race, your bib number and timing chip will be posted to you. You can expect to receive this in the week prior to the run. If for some reason it doesn’t arrive in time, visit the information desk on the morning of the race for a replacement.
For those who’ve entered closer to the race date, you will be able to collect your race packs at the registration desks in the event village.
Bag Drop
There will be a secure area where bags can be left, though it is recommended that you bring as little baggage as possible. Your bag tag is attached to your race number which you can tear off and attach to your bag.
Headphones
It is not recommended that you wear headphones during the race so you stay alert to what is going on around you and hear the encouragement from marshals and spectators.

My race pack for the Altrincham 10k has not arrived, what should I do?
If you registered more than two before the event, you pack should be posted to you. If for some reason it has no arrived by race day you can collect a replacement from the information desk on the morning of the event.
How old do I need to be to enter the Altrincham 10k?
