Set in the heart of Bedfordshire, Ampthill Park offers a tough cross country 10k course suitable for a wide range of ability levels. There are plenty of hills, grass, muddy and sandy terrain so you’ll definitely need your trail shoes for this challenging event!
In 1997 Sir Mo Farah won the Ampthill Trophy U15 race with an amazing time of 15:37!

There is lots of FREE off-street parking available around the park, and the surrounding area.
By Train From Luton
You can take the Thameslink that terminates at Bedford. Wait 3 stops (around 12 minutes), and get off at Flitwick. Walk around 2 minutes to the Railway Station bus stop. You ca take the number 34 bus for 7 stops (around 7 minutes). Get off at ALameda road. From here, its around a 1 minute walk to the start line.

- 2k: Ages 9-13 by the 1st of September.
- 4k: Ages 9-16 by the 1st of September.

Facilities
Light refreshments are available in Ampthill Park at The Coffee Lodge situated next to the east car park, nearest to the football ground, where hot drinks, light snacks, cakes and ice creams will be served.
Results
Race results will be displayed inside the Race HQ as soon as possible after the race. Results will also be available on the organiser website, which can be accessed on this page after the event has passed.
Event Rules
- For your safety, headphones are NOT permitted at anytime on this course. Anyone wearing headphones of any kind will be disqualified.
