6 Hour Challenge:9:30am
This is the third event in a series of 4 coastal races taking place this year. Each race will earn you a bespoke medal with a coastal theme, and can be used as a coaster or something similar if the ribbon is removed, or of course added to your proud collection.
The race itself takes place on a traffic-free, undulating trail course. Runners will complete laps of a 10.55k loop, and there will be an aid station at the start/finish point, so runners can refuel as often as they wish and there is no need to carry any kit. This gives runners a brilliant opportunity to take on a distance they haven't completed before. 2 laps will complete a half marathon, 4 laps a marathon and any more than that and the clock is your only limit!
But don't be put off by the long time limit, runners can rest as much as they wish between laps and refuel as often as they need. The fuel stations will be equipped with flapjacks, sweet things, fruit, and nuts, and also water and squash. But you can also leave your own items there if you have more individual requirements.
This is the third race in a series of 4 beautiful coastal races. The other 3 awesome events are also listed on Let's Do This:

It's our aim to provide premier running events throughout Essex and the South East for all abilities. Between us, we have accumulated more years running than we like to count and participate in as many races as we think we can get away with (either to stay injury-free or just to keep the family harmony)! We think that this gives a really good idea about what makes for great running events and our aim is to provide awesome events with runners always at the heart of what we do. We also recognise the enormous benefits of running for general well-being and mental health and want to encourage participation at every ability and for any age. For this reason, we have set up a running group to operate within the Run Together initiative.
