This 5.3k looped course is perfect for all looking to challenge themselves, whether you are running your first 5k or 100th marathon. The terrain is mostly comprised of pathways with some small sections of the course along trails and woodland. The route is self-contained within the picturesque Haughley park making it easy to navigate.
You will have 6 hours to complete as many laps as you can, and if you're lucky maybe a little bit more because if you leave the base camp before 5:59:59, you can complete one more lap!

Please use the postcode IP30 9RS to find the car park. There will be parking included in your entry. You will have a parking attendant show you where to park, they will check your name, give you your race bib and show you where the Race HQ/Base camp is.
By Car
Signed 'Haughley Park' on the A14, nine miles east of Bury St Edmunds (off junction 47a). one-mile north-west of Stowmarket (off Junction 49).
By Rail
The nearest station is Stowmarket. There is frequent direct service which is a 1 hour 20-minute journey from London Liverpool Street, plus a 10-minute taxi ride to the estate.
By Air
Stansted airport is a one hour drive, north on the M11, onto the A11 direction towards Newmarket. Then east onto the A14 towards Bury St Edmunds (then follow the direction for by car).

Race briefing
Upon entry you will receive an email confirmation from Zig Zag Running which will include a detailed race briefing pack explaining the times and set up.
Wave start times
You can choose the wave start time you would like when booking. If you start at 9 am you will have 6 hours. If starting at 11 am you will have 4 hours.
Lucky dip medal
The lucky dip medal gives runners a chance of receiving a previous Zig Zag Events medal for a slightly reduced cost. This can be chosen when registering and ensures a little surprise on the event day.
Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to take part.
Water stations
There will be a water station located at the start and lap point.
Cupless Event
Please note the event has gone cupless, so please bring your own water bottle to the event.
