It was my son’s first running event (he started running 2 months ago in order to get fit). The event was so friendly and inclusive, so despite the fact he found it really hard (a mix of anxiety, pacing and heat) he wants to do another ZigZag event, next week! (Just need to work out logistics!) They were incredibly encouraging and a brilliant intro for my son to the friendly world of the running community.

The course was mainly pretty, gently undulating trail. What really makes the race though is the team at ZigZag who are all so supportive and enthusiastic.

I just found the course hard mainly because of the elevation. I wish I had my trail running shoes. I loved the relaxed approach and everyone was friendly.
