It was windy but it was a good course. The marshals were friendly & the medal was nice too 

Well organised but not a great atmosphere of team spirit!!!!

I absolutely love this race and have ran it three times  - its well organised, friendly and has good facilities.  The route is beautiful with a few challenging inclines. The car park on the field can get very muddy and the entrance/exit to the car park can be very slippery.Possibly a ramp might help here?! I would definitely recommend this race. 

I ran this course last year which I got a Pb for 10 miles. Its a great course absolutely love it. This year 2018 Im competing in a marathon, sorunning this year was for training purposes more than anything. The course was still brilliant. The one thing you could improve on is the village hall isnt really bigger enough and when having to collect tshirt ( which is fab by the way!!) it was a complete nightmare. You could move in the hall wverybody was squashed up. Possibly a tent out side like the interlink one might be good for another year. 

Lovely course, very well organised and superb marshalls. Staggered start helps. Hall is far too small for everyone so a bit of squeeze trying to get a coffee after, or to support those winning trophies. One I shall definitely do again.

Great event. No issues. I really enjoyed it. 

I love this race, it's a great route. Medal was fantastic this year too ;)Just one bit of feedback for both Freethorpe and the Humpty Dumpty. Please do admin and prize giving outside. That hall is far too claustrophobic.  Thank you for a fantastic event!

Brilliant race and it had even been organised so that the sun came out just as it started!

My first ever ten mile race and was very nervous when i got there, car parking was easy directed into my spot by one of the many marshals who where present throughout the day. Changing facilities where very good and extra toilets where present, a safe bag area was well managed although at one point had a bigger queue than the toilets but i think that was mainly due to people wanting to keep their jackets on until the last moment  due to the chill wind that was blowing.The start was split into three pens colour coded and whilst waiting in the middle pen for the start got chatting to another runner, everyone was excited for the off, and then the first group was allowed to start the middle group was two minutes after and the final group two minutes after that, as we ran out of the village there was a large number of bystanders cheering us on, from start to finish there where plenty marshals about the course at the well manned water stations and every road junction or turning, the wind was blowing rather hard but when you got out of the wind you suddenly found yourself getting rather warm. The course itself was country roads with some gentle if long inclines that is util you got to reedham, running alongside the river and past the pub was really great but then you turned a corner and there was quite a steep hill, followed by a fairly long incline, but with other runners to talk to and getting encouragement from the time was flying by suddenly i was running down the final straight crossed the line and in a good time i thought, the medal was a nice solid chunky medal and i had paid for the anniversary ten years of the Freethorpe ten miles race which was of very good quality as well which i collected, the marshals at the end handed out water and if you wanted a banana or chocolate bar there was plenty for all. As i drank my water and got my breath back the runner from earlier came over and we congratulated each other and compared times, seems like runners like to talk about running. Although this was my first ten miler i have run other races and i have to say this was one of the best organised, i never saw any problems and really enjoyed the day, can't wait to do this next year.

This was the second time I have done the Race and I had forgotten how many hills there were! Its a lovely undulating course, Marshalls were incredible and nicely organised! 

Generally excellent, except access onto the car park. Need to level the hump to speed  it up and stop cars bottoming out. Great course and marshalling. 

This was the first time I ran the Freethorpe 10 and I really enjoyed it.  The course takes you through countryside and villages with a mix of up-hills, down-hills and flats.  It was a slightly breezy day so sometimes the wind helped and sometimes it hindered but never for long.  The event seemed well organised and it was a friendly event.  My only criticisms are that I could not hear the pre-race reminders (which is often an issue) and the car-park was starting to get a little churned up at the entrance/exit but that is just one of those things.  I would definitely recommend the Freethorpe 10 and would probably do it again.  

Great scenic race, and not too hilly, although there were some. Good to have staggered start times, so not too crowded. Not many supports scattered throughout the course. Could do with more toilets 

Excellent event as always well supported and fab medal 

If you have run Humpty Dumpty 10k and enjoyed the course and want to stretch yourself then this race is for you.  Plenty of facilities at the village hall including refreshments for race supporters and for that after race treat, the course is hilly in parts but scenic winding through the villages of Freethorpe, Reedham, Limpenhoe and Wickhampton.  The marshalls are friendly, there are two water stations on the route, it is well organised and the bling is good.

Loved it.  Great Marshalls, medal and t shirt.  Awesome.  Only downside was being shouted at by the car park official.  Needlessly shouting abuse about my driving skills as my van sunk up to its axles.  Everyone else seemed to really want to be there.  Well done.

The race was well organised, beautiful route. The only concern was the traffic was tricky to avoid at some points. Fantastic medal and Tshirt as a momento. 

Well organised and plenty of marshals. One comment, winners to collect trophies at prize giving or no prize. I had no idea I was in with a chance so went home. So no trophy!! Are we all expected to wait at the prize giving ? Comment meant as a constructive criticism. Your comment would be welcomed. Otherwise a great race. 

Love this course. Great starter run for the year. Third time running in and will be there again next year too!! Highly recommend. Always very well organised.

 brilliant race as always, gets better and better, fab support and organisation! The good weather made the scenery even better 

Sadly I accidently got mud in someone's eyes before the race so if anyone menstions it that was my fault and I apologised! Great day and awesome race, amazing atmosphere and great to hear everybody cheering each other on! Looking forward to next year! We need more 10mile races like this!

Second year I have ran Freethorpe TEN and I enjoyed it as much as the first. Really nice route, lovely encouraging Marshalls all the way round ( even some dancing at the end!). Awesome medal and snickers bar to finish! Will be back next year 

The course is a wonderful mix between beauty and challenging!!! The event was very well organised with a waved start to avoid accidents on narrow country roads. The race head quarters were very small for the amount of entrants, but the porter Loos were a welcome addition!! 

had a great run and met a few new people on the route.. well organised as ever.
