Barking Park August Bank Holiday 5K

The course is in Barking Park and run on tarmac. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.

This is a 2 lap course. It commences with a straight run of approximately 400 metres towards the allotments, very slight downhill, then a sharp left which brings you alongside the lake. Continue to the end of the lake, then take another sharp left, with a very slight incline. Follow this path, then take a gentle right turn and a left turn shortly afterwards. At the end of this path take a natural left. Follow this and then take the first possible left. This will bring you back to the start.Take a right turn and complete a second lap.

Please remember that the parkrun uses shared paths. For the continued success of the event, please give way to other park users. This won’t hurt your time, it won’t stop you from getting a PB and it will make sure everyone continues to enjoy the event.
