Take on this fantastic course which begins on the campus of the University of Bath. Runners will tackle a tough, hilly, mixed-terrain course which is sure to test their running ability.
This race welcomes all abilities whilst guaranteeing to be a challenge. You will traverse woodland trails and open meadows as well as some muddy sections. Embrace the fantastic views of Bath as you race along the hillside.
This event is a great day out for the whole family, with a 500m kids' race and the ability to run with your dog.

Parking
There will be free, on-site parking in a designated event car park, West Car Park, at the university. Parking charges and restrictions will be in place at other car parks around the university.
By Public Transport
The nearest train station is Bath Spa, which is 1.5 miles from the university. To get to the race start from the station, you can catch the U1 or U2 bus towards the university.

10:00 10k & 5k Canicross races start
10:40 500m race starts
11:00 10k Wave 1 starts
11:05 10k Wave 2 starts
11:10 10k Wave 3 & 5k races start
*Please note that these start times are provisional and subject to change. Final start times will be confirmed on the Wednesday of the race week.
Age Requirements
Runners must be at least 12 years old to participate in the 5k and at least 14 years old to participate in the 10k.
The 500m race has no minimum age requirement.
Drinks Stations
The 5k will have no drinks stations, but the 10k will have a checkpoint.
There will be water and a variety of snacks at the finish line, including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan offerings.
Prizes
There is no on-the-day prize giving because of the multi-wave, multi-start time format of the event. Prize winners will be contacted midweek via email after the event.
The final number of prizes awarded is determined by the number of finishers for each gender in a given race distance. If there are more than 100 finishers then the full range of awards are made as shown above. If there are between 50-100 finishers then the top 3 finishers overall will be awarded a prize. If there are less than 50 then only the winner will be awarded a prize. We do not have any winner's prizes for any of the children's events as we would like to keep this participation focused.

FAQs
When does the Bath Skyline 5k & 10k start?
The provisional start time is 10:00 for the canicross events, 10:40 for the 500m race, 11:00 for the 10k and 11:10 for the 5k. However, you will be contacted on the Wednesday before the event to confirm your start time.

If I am a top finisher how will I know if I have a prize for the Bath Skyline 5k & 10k?
