i would recommend having a marshal where powdermill lane meets the b2204. Its a dodgy corner and cars are not always expecting all the runners.

Do some hill work before doing this enjoyable course.

Seemed to be a lack of traffic control on Powdermill lane this year. At times it felt quite unsafe with cars trying to overtake runners on blind bends in to oncoming traffic. Don’t remember it being like this in previous years but was quite off putting

There were a lot of cars on powdermill lane and even more travelling really fast down the B2204 Catsfield Road which was quite dangerous, and some of the drivers were abusive. I can only assume Marshalls had not informed them to watch out for runners. This did make quite a long stretch of the route feel dangerous. There did not appear to be a Marshall on the corner of these two roads either. A lot of other runners had the same comments.Overall the atmosphere was great however.

Good course, good marshals - except could really have done with one on the blind bend at the junction of North Trade Road and the Netherfield turn where there was no footpath. Great medal and enjoyed running up and down the High Street. Felt like a proper local event.
