Route information
The Challenge
Each of the gold medalists will set targets on the day that you'll try to beat. These targets will be accuracy in finding the top corners of the goal and power when hitting the ball at goal.
Scoring Points
You'll have 10 attempts at goal with a maximum of 200 points on offer. Each shot will be able to earn 5, 10 or 20 points to your total and goal of beating the medalist.
Speed Challenge
If you think you've got a powerful shot, this is the perfect challenge for you. You'll hit the hockey ball as hard as you can to reach top speed. To beat the medalists at this one, you'll need to score over 130kph to beat David Ames and over 110kph to beat Shona McCallin.

The nearest tube stations to the start point are Stratford and Stratford International. Lee Valley is a 20-minute walk from both stations.
By Bus
Several bus routes connect to Stratford and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with the key routes being: 388, 308, 339, 97 and N205 which all stop near Lee Valley.
Parking
Parking is no longer free at Lee Valley, please follow the signs to the parking machines and follow the instructions on the machine, otherwise you will receive a fine. You can also park at Westfield next to the Stratford international train station.
By Bike
There are cycle routes connecting Lee Valley to local residential areas as well as the cycle routes through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The venue is close Sustrans National Cycle Network Route 1 and Barclays Cycle Superhighway CS2. Bike racks are available at the venue.

Fundraising
Successful fundraisers can get their entry fee discounted down to zero, which will be organised through the event organiser (Legacy300).
There are two ways of fundraising (and acquiring bonuses to help you Beat The Medallist):
- Buy Now Auction of UK-wide sporting experiences and memorabilia: Every item sold will raise a minimum time bonus of 0.25 seconds, and will also reduce your entry fee by £25 (per item sold).
- Just Giving type page for direct donations to your chosen good cause: Every £250 raised gives you a time bonus of 0.25 seconds.
If you are fundraising for this event, then you are also aiming to beat the lap time set by the host Olympic gold medallist.

Spectators are welcome to attend the Athlete Q and A and obviously watch proceedings.
