I try to do this race every year. It coincides with remembrance Sunday and the Last Post is played at the start. As I run I think of my granddad fighting in WWII and his brother who never returned. I look forward to running this challenging course in the years to come.

It was my first trail run for a long time and I loved getting into the mud. ;) Great race, amazing support-I even had a canine fan for about a kilometre. ;)Definitely doing it next year.

I found it a really well organised event with excellent marshals across the course. The course consisted of three undulating laps, on grass, gravel and through the woods. All in all, a very enjoyable event - suitable for all standards of runner.
