Great staff and friendly atmosphere. I had a great time. It was wet and muddy however and running through the woods you had to be careful.

A beautiful course through the undulating paths of Beckenham Place Park. Challenging in places, but some nice downhills after the hills provided the recovery I needed! it was a small field, which meant most of the race was spent running alone, but I quite liked that. I know the park and woods really well, but if I hadn't, there were a couple of places where I might have got a bit confused. The race course was shared with park users, and there were a couple of places where I had to hop over dogs and dodge children. It would be great to see more people joining this event next time around, to build the atmosphere. I would certainly do it again - or even try the half marathon next time....!
