Belles of Belvoir routes
Belles 24 (approx. 1160ft/ 350m of climbing)
Perhaps this is your first sportive/organised ride and you are looking for something to aim for? Our Belles of Belvoir 24 mile route could be the perfect fun challenge to set yourself in 2018. Alternatively you might be an experienced rider and fancy coming along for a social ride with friends. On this circular route on quiet country lanes, you will pass through pretty villages in the Vale, catching glimpses of Belvoir Castle at various points along the way.
Belles – 50 miles (approx. 2300ft/ 700m of climbing)
If you want more of a challenge, this ride is the one for you. A fantastic loop around the Vale of Belvoir, with at least a couple of trips up and down the central ridge, this will suit the more seasoned sportive rider, or those of you who want more of a challenge. Our 50 mile route takes in approx. 700m of climbing which includes Terrace Hill, the one local ascent mentioned fondly by Simon Warren in his book, ‘100 Greatest Cycling Climbs‘. The climb is short and sweet, but it will certainly get your heart pumping and legs spinning. You will pass two ‘Piece of Cake’ feed stations on this route.
Belles EXTRA – 70 miles – (approx. 3300ft/1005m of climbing)
This proved popular again this year, so back by popular demand, is our 70 mile ride. The route takes in a gorgeous and challenging circuit of the Vale of Belvoir, and beyond. You will enjoy stunning scenery and the best of the climbs that the area has to offer. We’ll keep you refreshed at our two feed stations, evenly spaced. This is no walk in the park, but we think you’ll love it!
