In 1895 when William Swan, a Fort William barber, set off on the first recorded timed ascent and descent of Britain’s tallest mountain he could not have envisaged the modern day Ben Nevis Race which now has a field of 600 runners accepting a challenge which is not for the unfit or faint-hearted.

Registration takes place from 10am and you must have your runners card(this will be posted out prior to the event) with you to collect your envelope with bib number, etc. All competitors will receive a t-shirt at registration.
Volunteers are a focal point of all Ben Nevis Race events. As such, they are always on the look-out for more helping hands.
