Fabulous setting, coupled with a tough course - 4th time now and loved every one! Will be back next year!

Loved it - beautiful course, lovely friendly feel, lots of water stations, great photo opps and the slower runners like me were well looked after.

This is my favourite race of all, I have completed it 6 times now and intend to continue yearly. It is a tough undulating multi surface course with a friendly social atmosphere. The aid stations are regular with bottled water. On top of this, scattered about are lucozade stations, jelly babies and orange segments. Great attention to detail with a bespoke medal with Gold, sSilver and Bronze versions depending on finish times.
At the end what more could you want than a finishers T shirt, a Brass band, a large range of cakes and a coffee, Tea or a Beer. Will always come back!

Great goody bag, T-Shirt, cake & beer at the end too.
    Highly recommended 👍🏻

I love this run ❤. The marshalls all round are so encouraging & energetic👏. So well organised. They cater for the weather every year. Can't wait for the next on 👍. But never seem to get back in time for the beer 😥

Top event. Very well organised, with lots of info. The course is spectacular. Plenty of support from the Marshalls and plenty of water/energy supplies stations. Challenging but very rewarding race. Very good quality runners taking part.

Registration, getting to the start, bag drop, starting, marshalling, refreshments, distance markers all fantastic. Also very efficient on timing and results. The 'race village' was great with free cake and beer much appreciated! It would be nice if somehow there could be less plastic (water bottles, bags etc.). I really really enjoyed it and thought it was excellent value.
