About
All Beyond Trail events start and finish in city centres, in iconic locations accessible by public transport. Designed to be completed in one day the routes take you beyond the surface and celebrate the true identity of the city.
With a mixture of urban trails there will be parks, pavements and paths to explore over a multitude of surfaces. With 25km and 55km distances there are routes for all, from challenge walkers, road runners and ultra athletes alike.
The events have strict entry capacities so you can feel part of a community, but also the environment you are running through.

Route information
We welcome all runners and challenge walkers with two distances: a 25km trail route and a 55km ultra route. Both of them follow fully signed routes offering a unique opportunity to explore the blend of urban, railway and woodland trails that the South West has to offer with feed stations along the way to keep you fuelled and hydrated.
Route maps will be available to view and download well before the event.

Event day logistics
Age Requirements
Entrants must be 18 or over to enter Beyond Bristol 25 and 20 or over to enter Beyond Bristol 55.
Feed Stations
All feed stations will have a range of drinks and cold food for participants to enjoy.
Beyond Bristol 55
There will be three feed stations along the route, plus the finish, details will be shared with participants prior to the event.
Beyond Bristol 25
There will be one feed station along the route, plus the finish, details will be shared with all participants prior to the event.
Cut-off Times
Cut-off times will be published closer to the event date (see event website for details). Walkers are more than welcome to take part, but there will be paces to maintain for each route to ensure you finish within the cut-off time.
Facilities
The start locations will have toilets available. It is recommended to come dressed ready to run, and to bring a supply of drinking water with you.
Bag Drop
There will be a supervised bag drop at the event start. Please don't bring valuables since we cannot accept liability for missing or stolen items.
Walkers
Walkers are more than welcome to take part in this event, but they will need to maintain a certain pace throughout to ensure they finish within the cut-off time.
