Route information

The World Heritage Site of Jurassic Coast is well-known for its geological history and dramatic cliffs. The trip will follow the coastal path along the cliffs, stopping at both well-known and hidden gems along the route including Durdle Door, Weymouth, Lyme Regis and Budleigh Salterton, just to name a few.

You will set out every morning and finish walking in early to late afternoon, giving you the opportunity to explore the surrounding towns and sights.

An approximate itinerary for the trip is below:

Day 1: Arrive Lulworth cove and overnight stay. (Wednesday)
Day 2: Walk to Weymouth, 27 km (Thursday)
Day 3: Walk to West Bay (Broadchurch), 27 km (Friday)
Day 4: Walk to Seaton, 27 km (Saturday)
Day 5: Walk to Exmouth, 33 km (An evening meal and a few glasses of something lovely to celebrate our achievements) (Sunday)
Day 6: Onward travel (Monday)
