Did the 160k in 2021
Lets get the positives out the way - great ride and scenery.. I had to mark it down to show how bad the rest was..Organisation - [email protected] to be honest, Open at 7am then expect the 200 or so riders on the long course to get registered so they can go at 7:30, wasn't going to happen. No idea who to ask as none of them wear and sort of jacket at the racecourse to identify themselves. Start was fine, with safety briefing and Marshall on the course were fantastic as were the refuel stations. No Mobile mechanic either.. any issues sort yourself out, luckily i was ok but a few others weren't.Finish line - not clearly marked, I followed 4 others in who could find the finish line as there no marshal or sign telling you where to go.. Organiser who I spoke to wasn't the least bit bothered. Results - Over a week later and the results still aren't published - They having a laugh..If you want to do a 100 mile bike ride - go with Struggle.. 110% better organised - these lot are a joke..
