This race is perfect for runners of all abilities, from those looking to enjoy a Sunday morning run in spectacular surroundings or for experienced athletes attempting to clock a PB.
The course will be clearly marked throughout, with a water station at the 5k mark.

Turned out to be a pleasant day! There was flooding by the river bank on route but after heavy rainfall before hand it is to be expected. Overall It was a very good and well organised event. Will definitely do it again in the future.

No previous warning before hand about running through flood defences and by the canal path. Would have been more suitable for trail trainers as I’ve not ruined a pair of expensive road running trainers. Stewards had to assist with road crossings. There was no warm up conducted or pre race atmosphere.

Marshals were all really good, course was very good albeit a little wet in places, I would definitely recommend although the medal was a little disappointing.
