Route information
Terrain: Tarmac
Route Type: Loop
Starting and finishing inside the beautiful Sutton Park, the course heads out onto paths within the park for a lapped 5k, 10k or Half Marathon route that takes in the scenic nature of the park.
Previously the home of the National Road Relays, you will be running on the paths once pounded by Sir Mo Farah, Andy Vernon and many more of GB's greats through the 2,400 acre National Nature Reserve.
The entire course is inside Sutton Park on the roads/paths not on grass and involves laps around the Park.
Each Mile will be accurately marked out and there will be plenty of helpers to keep you quite literally on track and encourage you on your way.
  • 5k - 1 lap
  • 10k - 2 laps
  • Half Marathon - 4 laps

Freezing cold, rainy, so not many people there and not much support. But the course was great and I enjoyed the day nonetheless

No signage to point to the start of the race, which was in the middle of the park, no signage for parking. A lot of confusion about sign up. Marshall’s started to pack up the course before I finished.

First time running in my home city, and seeing it from the runners perspective left me quite emotional. The crowd support could not have been more vocal or more sincere, music was so diverse and reminded me just how we rely on every culture to make this city unique. And that finish, iconic Selfridges, Moor Street on a hill that had passed me by for fifty years and then the roar from the crowd. Sensational, RunThrough, simply sensational!!

Hi there. Just to let you know that we would describe the course as undulating. I'm not sure what the parks park run course is so I'm afraid I can't help you there.
