Route description
Route description

Beginning at Perth y Pia the route will take you on a tough ascent up the Black Mountain ridge. You will then descend into the valley and explore the forest trails, before climbing the Mc Namaras pass to scale Waun Fach. The route will include lots of climbs so make sure to join for the hills and thrills. There will be plenty of stations with food and water so make sure to keep fuelled throughout.

This race is a self-navigation event, all participants must be able to read a map and a compass.

Cut-off Times

  • 50 miles: 24 hours
  • 26 miles: 12 hours

A full mandatory kit check will be taken at registration and checks will be carried out during the event. Please bring the following items:

  • Waterproof jacket and trousers
  • Race vest/pack
