Here's what races are available for Bluebell 13k
Route information
This event looks to cater to runners of all abilities therefore and is ideal for novices and seasoned pros alike. Participants will enjoy a truly stunning trail which takes them through the epic Chiltern Hills and the bluebell forest of Ashridge.
Like all Run the Wild events, the race will take place in teams and you will be placed in a time of a similar running ability. These teams will go at the following paces:
  • 7-9k per hour
  • 11k per hour
  • 11k+ per hour

By Train
Ashridge House is just 40 minutes North West of London with train links from Euston. The nearest train stations are Tring and Berkhamsted where there are taxi ranks available.
There is an on-site free car park.
Event day logistics

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the race is scheduled to begin to ensure there is plenty of time to complete the registration process.
Age Restrictions
You must be at least 15 years old on the day of the event to take part.
Kit List
  • Wicking top and shorts or leggings
  • Socks (eg: Injinji)
  • Trail running shoes (sufficient tread)
  • Lightweight waterproof jacket
  • Sun hat / cap
  • Warm hat and gloves
  • Fully Charged Mobile Phone including the numbers for the Lead Runners, Event Director as well as appropriate emergency services (charge before use and make sure it's in a waterproof case or bag)
  • Lightweight, comfortable running pack (max 12 litres)
  • Water Bottles / Bladder
  • Snacks to sustain you for the planned route
  • Waterproof bags / dry bags to keep stuff dry
  • Whistle (normally found attached to your bag)
  • Personal first aid kit (eg: blister packs, sunscreen, inhaler etc)

There will be a few occasions along the route where the team stops and their race leader can share some knowledge tips.
Is there catering on-site at the Bluebell 13k?
Musette's Cafe offers a variety of food and drink, including a freshly cooked trail runners' breakfast.
What is not included in the fee for the Bluebell 13k?
There is no personal insurance (recommended) and entrants must make their own way to the venue and cover their own food and drinks.
Is there parking at the Bluebell 13k?
Yes, there is free on-site parking at this event.

My first time with Run the Wild - excellent every step of the way from the website , booking and pre event details . A very special thank you to ringleaders Katy and Len - pushed me through to the end . I enjoyed the run , stunning scenery and met some lovely ladies .
