Take part in this superb celebration of running in the heart of Bournemouth. Great for runners of all levels, the course winds its way through the town and along the seafront. Come to raise money for a good cause or for the views of seven miles of golden beaches.

BHF Health-on-Line Bournemouth Bay Run routes

The half marathon will begin on the pier approach and heads East passing through Boscombe. Runners will be treated to a relatively flat course with stunning views of the coastline.

The 10k and 5k events will begin to the West of Bournemouth Pier. Runners will then head East along the seafront passing Boscombe Pier towards Southbourne. As with the half marathon, these events will offer runners stunning views of the glorious Sandy Beaches.

This is a great event for spectators. Due to the out and back nature of the course, spectators should get a good views of runners wherever they stand.

Will there be toilets/changing rooms by the start line at the BHF Health-on-Line Bournemouth Bay Run?
There are public toilets near the Pier Approach and Lower Gardens. Whilst there will be limited changing available, runners are advised to arrive changed and ready to run.
Is there a warm up at the BHF Health-on-Line Bournemouth Bay Run?
Yes, a warm up will take place shortly before each race.
Is there a bag drop at the BHF Health-on-Line Bournemouth Bay Run?
Bag storage is available in the Baggage Marquee near the Waterfront. In order to collect your baggage, runners will need their race number.
How old do I have to be to compete in an event at the BHF Health-on-Line Bournemouth Bay Run?
Runners must be 17 years old to compete in the half marathon, 15 years old to compete in the 10k and 11 years old to compete in the 5k. There is also a 1k Kid's Fun Run on offer in which any age can run.
