Route information
This event covers country lanes, fields, towpaths and some road which makes this run a picturesque countryside run. There are stiles, gates, bridges and hopefully lots of mud.

Parking is available, please park on Lancaster Road and Lysander Road, please avoid Hercules Way, please be courteous to other competitors and locals. There will be no parking at the sports field on the day. Please think about car sharing.

Registration
Registration is from 09:00 to 10:00 where you can collect your race number.
Race numbers should be fixed to the front of your top using safety pins and be clearly visible when you finish the race.
Race Brief
There will be a short briefing before the race for your safety. Please obey the instructions from the marshals at all times.
Age Restrictions
You must be aged 16 or over on race day to compete in the 10k. The 5k is open to all ages but under 10s must be accompanied by an adult.
Accessibility
This course is not suitable to wheelchair users or those wishing to run with buggies.
Headphones
The use of headphones and earphones including bone conducting ones is not permitted at this event.

There will be toilets, and refreshments will be available to purchase.

Are there age restrictions for the Bowerhill Bomber?
The 10k race is open to runners over the age of 16 years on the day of the race. The 5K race is open to all but under 10's must be accompanied by an adult.
Is the Bowerhill Bomber course suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs?
We regret that the course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Can I run with headphones?
Headphones / bone conduction headphones are not permitted, please do not break these rules otherwise you will be disqualified. This is for everyone’s safety.
Can I bring my dog to this event?
No, unfortunately no dogs will be permitted at this event.
