This Triathlon event in the magnificent Lake District which includes the excitement of racing next to Lake Windermere, with transition at Cockshott Point in Bowness, a cycle around the shores of the lake into Ambleside and back. The run takes you on a number of loops depending on the distance, towards around then turning back towards the Cockshott point.

Toilets

Toilet facilities are available at the visitor’s reception. There are also a toilet, accessible toilet, shower and changing facilities in the Sports Centre, on the approach to the Finish area, and at the Pavilion, just past the Finish Area. These facilities may be used by the runners.

First Aid

First aid will be available on site. If anyone is in need of medical attention they should inform the nearest event marshal who will contact the Medical Director

Ian is the Company Director and is supported by his wife Vicky, Communications Manager, son Kieran, Events Officer and daughter Cara. Marianne provides valuable support as an Events Officer.

    Did the Sprint Triathlon in 2019

    Absolute shambles. The marshals directed the leading 8 cyclists on the wrong route so they cycling 25km instead and came in long after the other competitors. At one point the cyclists were refused permission to cycle the correct route and the marshals insisted they take the 25km route.
