Tin of fish in good bag not popular with me. First 6miles up the portway and back not really that interesting.

Well organised, big city marathon. Quick course. Some small hills but unless you’re looking for something pancake flat it’s great for a PB.

Brilliant event in a brilliant city - I run it every year! Super well organised, amazing crowd support and an awesome route. It's such an amazing atmosphere running back into the City and hearing the booming music down the home stretch. Can't wait for 2019!

This was one of 4 10k races I ran within May 2016. The Bristol 10k offered stunning scenery as you run along the river Avon. It was a hot Sunday morning so the volunteers were well on top with keeping things cool with water (mind the pun). A challenging course too with uphill early on to keep runners on their toes. The atmosphere was awesome too with plenty turning out in Bristol to cheer the thousands marching on. Would love to do this race again next year to push for another PB and another super medal & goody bag.

Good communication through email with training schedules for range of abilities sent at appropriate time. Race pack informative with useful details and timings and facilities mapped out. Spacious event village in central location with parking and public transport options near by. Well supported at turn around at extreme end of course as well as in city centre. Live music and samba band lift you when you need it. Families cheering and handing out sweets. Well managed after finish to guide you through to collect goody bag with medal, t-shirt and vouchers for local beer and food voucher for Waggamamas. I have completed the course every year since 2011 and intend to keep coming back!

Despite awful weather at the start this was a great event. The start was well managed so that you were spread out sufficiently to be able to avoid weaving round others or being held up, which was great compared to somewhere like Cardiff Half. Superb organisation all round, great on course support, and lots of iconic Bristol scenery. Loved it!

I have done three Bristol 10k races. Love it ❤️❤️❤️ and definitely going to do a few more. Also, planning to sign for Bristol Half Marathon 2020 🤞Great atmosphere and scenery, well organised, supportive and friendly crowd, love each of my medals 🥇

Done this run 2 years a go, enjoyed the run but was very disappointed with the park and ride to the event !! All ok going, as they dropped us off , but when we went to be picked up after the event,we waited ages for a bus then was told it picks as up somewhere else in the town !! Was not told about this at the time, couldn’t find it in town asking everybody, couldn’t even get a taxi back to the car park , ended up walking back which took as ages as we didn’t know where we were going ; just what you need after running a Half marathon , have not done this run again just because of Lack of communication
