Swim
Distance: 750m
Distance: 750m
The swim leg will be two laps of the west country park lake. Make sure to pack your wetsuits as it could be a cold one. Perfect for all abilities the calm waters makes this swim accessible for all.
Bike
Distance: 20k
Distance: 20k
The bike section will be an out-and-back flat route perfect to get a good speed on the bike. Embrace the surrounding of the West Country Water Park and see if you can get a PB.
Run
Distance: 5k
Distance: 5k
The final section of this course is a simple run around the lake. Stride towards the finish and soak up the beautiful scenery as you run.

BTF Rules
This event will be held under British Triathlon Federation Rules;
- You must not litter on the course. Keep hold of it until you can dispose properly.
- Respect your fellow competitors, technical officials, event organisers, volunteers and spectators.
- Know the course by studying race maps.
- Have your race number clearly visible from the back during the cycle stage and from the front during the run stage.
- MP3 players, mobile phones and personal video recording devices are banned during the race. Please leave outside transition.
- Helmets must be clipped before the bike is touched and remain clicked until the bike is racked after the cycle stage.
- Drafting is not permitted. You must keep at least a 10 - 12 metre distance between you and the person ahead. You have 20-25 seconds to overtake.
- Only bring what is essential into transition. Bulky items may be removed.
Spectator Info
Spectators are welcome to come along to the event and watch, there is an indoor cafe and bar which overlooks the lake with a fantastic viewing platform so you can support your family/friends.
