  • Did the Buckingham Half Marathon in 2019

I have been running this half marathon since it started three years ago and never been disappointed! Great course and scenery, brilliant organisation and marshals, the medals are always great and there’s tea and cakes at the end! When I say cake, it isn’t your box standard slice from a packet, they are proper fresh cakes! The entries go to local chosen charities so you are helping others as well.
Now, the course isn’t for the faint hearted, it is very much undulating with a couple of hills and not much flat but that’s the Buckinghamshire country side for you! I wouldn’t recommend it as a first half marathon unless you want a challenge!
I’ll be there again next year.
