The Mid Sussex Burgess Hill 10K routes

The final race of the Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend takes place at Burgess Hill. Each race will include a Mid Sussex Mile, for both junior and adult athletes. Details of the other two races can be found below:

23/05/2020 - Mid Sussex East Grinstead 10 Mile
24/05/2020 - Mid Sussex Haywards Heath 10 Mile

This race starts and finishes at Oakmeeds Community College, before taking athletes onto the naturally undulating tracks and trails in and around the town.

Times from this race will contribute toward a cumulative time for those completing the 26.2 mile weekend across the three races, however, the race can be entered individually.

Schedule:

0930: Fun Run
1000: One Mile
1030: 10K

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your start time so that you have enough time to both register and prep for the race start.

A prize giving ceremony will take place around 45 minutes after the first runner is home.

Spectators

This is a fantastic event for spectators who can create a great atmosphere across the weekend.

Afterwards, supporters can enjoy the beautiful surroundings for themselves.

Volunteers

Nice work are always on the lookout for volunteers to help out with their events. There are a variety of roles available from marshalling to helping with event set-up.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I attach my timing chip?
Your timing chip is incorporated into your race number and should not be removed. Please place the race number on the front of your vest/shirt and not on your leg or back.
Can I leave my bag at registration?
Baggage drop facilities will be available at the Race HQ.
Do I have to enter the whole series to compete?
No, each race can be entered individually. However, those running in all three will receive a commemorative Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend medal.
