Terrain: Trail and Road
This bank holiday Monday route begins in Rye and takes the Saxon Shore Way and 1066 County Walk, passing by the ruins of Camber Castle built by Henry VIII then going through the historic village of Winchelsea before returning to Rye. The route is approx. 6.5 miles and is flat apart from one hill in the middle, on a mixture of trail and road.
Never been to a guided run before? You don’t have to run fast however you should be capable of running at around 12 minute mile pace or above and are confidant you can complete the distance. No runners are left behind - its a supportive group.
