Was a nice run, couple of areas where runners didn't know which way to go - but overall a great event

Be wary of tree stumps and obstacles whilst running through the woods. Just keep your eyes peeled.

About 1k to go the course crossed over another part of the course and we had to runs cross the oath of other runners. The Marshall didn't explain it well up over the hill so I ran wrongly and lost about 10 seconds on my time as it wasn't clear where the course went. Also the course wasn't 10k. It was 9.8k and booked Strava made it as a 10k.

It was good, just struggeled with directions at places.

I really enjoyed it. I would recommend trail shoes for anyone entering next year (the event email does encourage it and correctly suggests running shoes as an absolute minimum). It's Manchester in November so likely it's going to be wet / muddy. To be fair, I don't own Trail Shoes and got round okay, aside from difficulty on an ascent around the 7km mark, but I will definately have some for next time.

Really enjoyed this run. Honestly underestimated the course. It was tougher than expected but a great course. Dont get me wrong its not as hard as some races that Ive done but was pretty tough with every type of terrain you can think of. Id definitely recommend this.
