Start and finish location easy to find, ample car parking… facilities at tourist centre near by… race went to time plan, a little surprised by the roads being open which forced resulted in single file running… course is very undulating as brief describes n the peaks n toughs provide a serious challenge. Saw several stopping on first climb. Well marked out and good safety brief at start. Good to great value.
Very tough course, felt like 1 mile downhill then 5 back up. Perfect training race for Telford.
Great challenge for me with great support from marshalls, organisers and fellow participants. Even recognised with a bottle of wine as fastest lady in my age category which was a shock!
Loved the location and views
Great event over hilly road course. Rotary club volunteers were amazing giving so much support round the course and providing lots of prizes. Sun shone throughout and the goody bag was good with lots of nice, immediately edible food to replace lost calories. Fresh banana and chocolate particularly welcome!
