Route information
Runners for the 5k will start at the Sheepmount ring road, along Mayors Drive and finish in Carlisle city centre, close to the Town Hall. You will be running along open roads for some of the course so runners are advised to look out for other road users.
The Fun Run/Walk 2k will start from the Victoria statue in Bitts Park and follow Mayors Drive, Devonshire Walk and Castle Way heading towards the finish at the city centre.

*Update on Santa Suit Collections
Everyone must collect their Santa suits and race number prior to race day. There will be no need to register on the day just head to the start, wearing your Santa suit.
Here are the locations and times for collection:
- Saturday November 27th – Morton Manor Car Park 09:30 to 11:00
- Wednesday December 1st – Trinity Leisure Centre – 17:00 to 18:30
- Saturday December 4th – Morton Manor Car Park 09:30 to 11:00
Children 5 years and over we will have suit sizes for 5-8 years or 9-14 years, and the adult suit is one size fits all.
If you already own a Santa suit and do not require one, please select the ticket without the suit.
Please note, all runners MUST be wearing a Santa suit for the 5k Dash and Fun Run/ Walk.
