We are delighted to announce that will be returning to the amazing Caerhays Estate to bring you our truly stunning bespoke sprint triathlon.​Swim… Bike… Run… the most exhilarating way to experience ‘Cornwall’s best kept secret’!​The natural beauty of the coastline and its steep valleys, architectural surprises, and the inescapable sense of history offered by the estate all set the scene for an amazing day of discovery and triathlon.​Complete a 1km open water sea swim, cycle a 21km loop through country lanes and run 6km off road in woods and gardens to finish beside the impressive Caerhays Castle.This is a time chipped event with full bike racking and event village. Camping details on request.

Here's what races are available for Castle Triathlon – Caerhays Estate
Route information
The race will start on Porthluney (Caerhays) beach where you will swim 1km around the bay before exiting on the beach. Once out of the water there will be a short run through to transition. You will head out of Caerhays Castle Estate and cycle along the roads surrounding the castle in an undulating 21km loop, you will enter Caerhays Estate from the opposite side and head down the main drive to the castle and transition. Out onto the run and it’s one loop of the field visible opposite the estate before you cross the road and head into the grounds for an undulating total run of 6.5km.

DIRECTIONS TO THE EVENT
From St Austell: First turning after the end of Sticker by-pass (signposted to Tregony - B3287) turn right at first junction and then follow signposts to Caerhays. From Truro: First turning right off the A390 after Grampound (signposted to Tregony and St Mawes) then follow signposts to Caerhays.
EVENT CAR PARKING
Parking is in the two main beach car parks where there is a small charge and will be signposted at the entrance.

08:20 Warm up, we will allow you 10 minutes to get in the water and acclimatise before the start.

Crowds
Spectator Info
Access to the castle grounds is restricted and you will not able to go into the gardens as they will be closed to the public. We would recommend placing yourselves near transition and the finish line as this is where most of the action will take place. The general public will have access to the beach and its surrounding areas for spectating.
