The Rotary Cathedral to Castle 10 Mile Multi-Terrain Run – or "C2C" as it is affectionately known, is a 10-mile multi-terrain run linking Lichfield Cathedral to Tamworth Castle. The run starts in Beacon Park, Lichfield and finishes in the Tamworth Castle Grounds. Organised by the four Rotary clubs of Lichfield and Tamworth with all proceeds donated to worthy causes, particularly local ones.

Route information
This is a multi-terrain route which uses roads, paths, tracks and canal towpaths from Lichfield to Tamworth. Starting in Beacon Park, you will run through the city centre before leaving Lichfield down Darnford Lane. the route then takes local paths around Whittington Heath and past Whittington School. You will then work round Hopwas Woods and onto the canal until you reach Hopwas village. A short road section then takes you into Wiggington Park in Tamworth. the final section takes you through the streets and into Tamworth Castle Grounds.
The course will be fully marked so no need to worry about getting lost!

Participants are encouraged to park in Tamworth near the finish line and then use the coach shuttle to the start. It is free to use the Tamworth Borough Council car parks on a Sunday (except for the NCP car park). Alternatively you can park in Lichfield, near the start. Some of the car parks are free on Sundays. There will not be a shuttle to Lichfield at the end of the race.
Coach Shuttle
There will be a coach service running from Tamworth to the race start in Lichfield before the race. Please select this option when booking. Runners will be notified of where to park for the coach service closer to the event date.

Race Packs
Your pack with your race number and timing chip will be mailed to you approximately 10 days prior to the event to the postal address you provide at checkout. If your race number has not arrived 5 days before the run, please contact The Rotary Clubs of Tamworth & Lichfield directly.
Age Requirements
All runners must be a minimum of 16 years old on the day of the event in order to take part. Please note all 16-17 year olds must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Bag Drop
There will be a bag drop at the start in Beacon Park. Once the run is completed, you will be able to collect your belongings at the finishing area in Tamworth Castle Grounds. Run numbers must be worn to facilitate appropriate identification of each bag.
Trees not Tees
If you do not want a finisher's t-shirt you can opt for Trees not Tees at checkout. In this case, a tree will be planted on behalf of you in place of a t-shirt.

Yes there will be 3 water stations along the course as well as one at the finish.

Your race pack, including your race number and timing chip will be posted to you 10 days prior to the race.
