The course takes you right around the circumference of the epic Olympic Stadium, where Usain Bolt completed his famous 'treble-treble'. Other notable landmarks include the Lee Valley Velodrome, the home of Britain's cycling success.

Those running in the 5km race will complete the route twice, while those in the 10km will complete it four times.

Race packs will be sent in advance where possible and emails will be sent communicating instructions in the lead up to the event.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the race to allow ample time to complete the registration process.

This event is great for spectators who can watch their friends and family race in these awesome Olympic surroundings.

The looped nature of the route means you can cheer athletes off from the start and welcome them in at the end.

Volunteers are a key cog in making race events run smoothly. RunThrough have many roles for volunteers such as handing out medals, baggage drop, course marshalling, manning the water stations and plenty more.

Great event, well organised, flat course, nice to do an evening run! I would have preferred less laps!

Well organised and a good race that I will recommend to others. One part of the course has a few too many turns but all in all a good race.

Easy parking at Westfield shopping centre. Register to park and drive in and out without the need to stop at a machine to pay. Leave enough time to account for Blackwall tunnel traffic if driving.

Another excellent event by RunThrough, continuing to maintain their high-standard of events, even in the most challenging of conditions. Being able to run an organised & chip-timed 5 or 10k on a cold & rainy midweek evening in deepest, darkest February is truly an amazing thing. Makes you appreciate the warm & sunny "Chase the Sun" events all the more!

Was a very rainy day, but I still enjoyed the race. If it's raining, it's a very good idea to have some dry and warm replacement shoes and clothes. I didn't have other shoes, so had to improvise - I changed socks and put plastic bags on my feet so I can wear the wet shoes and still stay dry. I had to cycle home after the event too, so plastic bags were lifesavers even if it sounds ridiculous

I enjoyed it on a cold, wet Wednesday evening. That said, looking forward to the Chase the Sun series. Ive done RunThrough events so far so know the process. It works well, and good follow-up post race.

Even though it rained the whole way round, the atmosphere was great. It was my first time running at the Olympic Park, and it took a little while to find the race from Stratford underground station.Once again, the flapjacks were worth the effort!Mostly flat.

Very pleased I brought a change of clothes!
