Get inspired with this 5/10km run through the hallowed grounds of the London 2012 Olympics. An ideal event for beginners or seasoned pros, the course will take you right around the Olympic Stadium. Come for the epic backdrop or for the bespoke finisher's medal.

Route description
The course takes you right around the circumference of the epic Olympic Stadium, where Usain Bolt completed his famous 'treble-treble'. Other notable landmarks include the Lee Valley Velodrome, the home of Britain's cycling success.
Those running in the 5km race will complete the route twice, while those in the 10km will complete it four times.
**Schedule
19:00** 10k Start
19:30 5k Start
To avoid congestion and minimise overtaking, participants will be set off in start waves based on their estimated finish times.
Race packs will be sent in advance where possible and emails will be sent communicating instructions in the lead up to the event.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the race to allow ample time to complete the registration process.
This event is great for spectators who can watch their friends and family race in these awesome Olympic surroundings.
The looped nature of the route means you can cheer athletes off from the start and welcome them in at the end.
Volunteers are a key cog in making race events run smoothly. RunThrough have many roles for volunteers such as handing out medals, baggage drop, course marshalling, manning the water stations and plenty more.

Tube/Train: The closest stations to the park are Statford or Stratford International. Alternatively, you can get the overground to Hackney Wick which is around a 10 minute walk to the park.

Car: There is paid parking available in the Westfield Stratford City.
