This was my first ever 10k and I had a great time. I only registered 2 days before but got all the information I needed. Everyone was very friendly and the event village had a great atmosphere. Snacks at the end were lovely! My only suggestions for improvement would be:- more music around the course. There was one point (maybe two) where a marshal had a speaker and it really added to the atmosphere, particularly in the dark- it would be good to have an area for changing before/after (nothing fancy but some screens or something, ie I just needed to switch from shorts to trousers afterwards and had to do this in the park in the dark- at one point on my 4th lap the lights went out altogether on a long straight section, which made it very hard to see where I was going! Would be useful to ensure lighting is going to be on the whole time. But overall an excellent event and would like to do more.

Course a bit boring but I guess that can't be helped when you're doing laps of the park. Would have been better to do it earlier in the evening or earlier in Sept so it wasn't dark by the time it started. Very friendly staff and well organised

This was my first Run Through event and I really enjoyed it. The looped course was great because then you've always got people to aim for. It was also good that there was clothing for sale - I appreciated that so I didn't have to spend 2 hours on the train soaking wet! I know he was clearly very popular, but the only thing that would make it better for me would be in the man with the go pro didn't keep jumping out in front of the faster runners. Perhaps he could have stayed on the left? It was still great though and I was pleased to knock 27 seconds off my PB.

4 loops was quite boring, the lighting provided blinded people as they ran by. Didn’t help having people walking/cycling in the route and people that were organisers blocking you to high five when you clearly were trying to go around them. I had to go around several of the organisers having a chat on the home stretch and they didn’t care to move.
