This is a lapped course around the iconic Cheltenham race course. Imagine the course has its 65,000 capacity crowd cheering you on as you do laps of this historic site.

Details of each race can be found below

  • 5k - 1 lap
  • 10k - 2 laps
  • Half Marathon - 4 laps

Logistics and schedule

10:00 Half Marathon start

10:50 10k start

11:00 5k start

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time in order to ensure a smooth registration process.

Race Pack Collection

If you entered before Monday 31st May, you will receive a race pack in the post. If you entered after, a pack will be waiting for you to collect on the day. If you are expecting a pack in the post and do not receive it by the race, please head to the information desk before your race on Sunday morning and we will issue you with a new one.

It is recommended entrants arrive at the following times to collect their race packs:

  • Half Marathon - 08:30 - 09:30
  • 10k - 09:20 - 10:20
  • 5k - 09:30 - 10:30

Race Start

The colour of your race number will relate to the wave you are starting in. This has been determined by the estimated finish time given when signing up.

Within the event village you will see the directional signage guiding to the start line. Each start area will be marked out to help prepare you all into your start formations with help from the marshals. When arriving please familiarise yourself with the start area.

Each wave will be called to the starting pen where our marshals will guide you into a start formation with 4 runners, all 2m apart, being started every 10 seconds.


Toilets will be available within the Grandstand next to the event village.


Non-essential spectators are strictly banned at the event to ensure the safety of the runners and the staff. This includes the event village and all areas of the course.

By Train

The closest railway station is Cheltenham Spa, which is around a 40 minute walk to the racecourse. There is a taxi rank at the station, and it is about a 10 minute drive away.

The racecourse is also accessible by foot and bike.


The racecourse is just a 5-minute drive from Cheltenham Town Centre, on Evesham Road. Alternatively, just off J11 on the M5. If you are using satellite navigation, please key in the postcode: GL50 4SH. Alternatively, you can use the AA Route Planner and select GL50 4SH as the destination.

There is adequate free parking available within the Racecourse, please follow signage and marshal instruction from the front gate and head into the car park located adjacent to the event village.

The entire course is inside Cheltenham racecourse on the roads/paths not on grass.

Yes, there will be toilets within the Grandstand next to the event village.
Is there somewhere I can leave my bag at the event?
There will be an informal self-service bag drop at the event site but where possible please leave things in your car.
