Route information

The Cheshire 10k is back for 2026 and registration is now OPEN! Taking place on Sunday 24th May at the scenic Cheshire County Showground in Knutsford, this flat and fast road race is perfect for runners of all abilities. Whether you're chasing a personal best or completing your first ever 10k, this event welcomes everyone with open arms.

The course follows traffic-free rural roads surrounding the showground, offering a smooth and speedy route ideal for PBs. With a friendly race village atmosphere and plenty of space to warm up, support fellow runners, and enjoy the day, it’s a standout race experience in the heart of Cheshire.

PARKING/TRAVEL

There will be free parking on site. Please arrive early as there may be queues on arrival. As with all major events, there may be delays on leaving the car park after the event.

Event day logistics

09:00 am - 10K start

11:00 am - Race End

CUT-OFF

Please note there is a 90 minute cut off on this race due to road closures in place.

MINIMUM AGES

15 Years and above

BAGGAGE

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

TOILETS

There will be portable toilets in the event village.

REFRESHMENTS

There will be water provided at approximately halfway on the course, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.

RESULTS

Results will be available here immediately after the race.
