The race starts at Bishop Sutton Football Club, [Lakeview,

The challenge then comes in the climb up to Hinton Blewitt up the now infamous HILL where your energies will be rewarded with wide views over the Chew Valley – and maybe some jelly babies. The final stretch drops you back into Bishop Sutton where the crowds will cheer you across the finish tape – concluding back at the Club for the prize giving ceremonies.

Did the race in 2019
This is a really well organised event. A vibrant atmosphere with very enthusiastic marshals and race personnel. The whole community comes together to make this a success. Results were available almost immediately and the. presentation of prizes was quick and efficient.Facilities were excellent tea coffee cakes and a bar available. Only negative was the lack of any showers but I realise this could be a problem as the race has grown since the inaugural event in 2013. Overall this race is highly recommended and puts some larger events to shame. The course is very demanding but no less enjoyable as a result.
