Did the race in 2021
A (mostly) firm and flat corse, but the terrain was very uneven and needed constant care. The upside was the scenery, which was stunning. This was my first race at the 15km distance - and I had a half marathon (also my first) the following day! I chose to pace myself throughout the run, using heart rate, RPE and pace as my guides. I didn't get sucked-in to going off too fast, or trying to keep up with runners passing me. I finished without problems and felt suprisingly okay at the end.
