Starting from Tring Station, this opportunity is the perfect way to explore the country footpaths of the Chiltern Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, whilst learning best trail running practices from the lead runners.
The 30k of the fully guided trail will take you through stunning woodland, quaint country villages, and all over rolling grassy hills. If you are worried about running steep ascents, rest assured that anything deemed too steep will be walked up, and you will be with a group of runners of similar abilities to ensure that you enjoy the day without any worries.
At the end of the course, you will receive transport back to Tring Station with full hearts, tired legs, and incredible memories.

There is free parking onsite for all participants.
By Train
Transport is not included in your booking, however, there are regular trains from London Euston Station which take around 40 minutes. Transport will be provided back to Tring station at the end of the event. The train station is a 10 minute walk away from the start line

Please note: the organisers will not be checking your kit on the day, but they highly recommend you bring these items for your safety.
FAQs
I'm a bit worried that I won't be able to keep up, are there different paces we can go at the Chilterns 30?
This route is rated Moderate, and that good fitness is required. You will need to be able to be on your feet for around 5 hours a day, and runners are encouraged to have run close to a half marathon distance before signing up. That being said, runners are grouped by ability, and the lead runners will make sure you do not get left behind.
Are the run leaders qualified at the Chilterns 30?
Yes, all of the Run Leaders will be English Athletics qualified and know the local area extremely well.
Do I have to bring all my own refreshments at the Chilterns 30?
It is recommended that participants bring snacks to sustain themselves along the route, however, there will be a well stocked refreshment station along the route to keep you fed and fueled.
