This 10-mile women's trail run explores the Sussex Downs between Cissbury Ring and Chanctonbury Ring. Enjoy breathtaking views across the Sussex countryside and down to the Sea as you take on this undulating route.
These events are not designed to be races, but rather a sociable run for those wanting to enjoy the thrill of trail running. You will run as a group, taking breaks as needed to ensure everyone stays together. You should be comfortable maintaining a pace of approximately 10-11:30 minutes per mile / 6:15-7 minutes per km on flat roads continuously.

You will meet the group at Storrington Rise public car park, where there is plenty of parking available, if in the event it is full please park respectfully on the residential roads surrounding.

All runners should be aged 16 or older on the day of the run.
Pace
This event is about having fun, not racing. The aim is to run together, so you will have breaks to regroup if needed.  To ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience, it's important to be mindful pace and your capability of running the distance, in reality the pace will change depending on the route terrain, distance and elevation. While we welcome participants of varied abilities, we recommend being comfortable maintaining a pace of approximately 10-11:30 minutes per mile (6:15-7 minutes per km) on flat roads continuously. While hiking uphill is perfectly acceptable, we do ask that participants are capable of running on the flats and downhill sections to help maintain group flow.  If you have any questions or concerns about your ability to join a run, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to ensure that every participant has a positive and fulfilling experience.
